In 2019 Perton Signs made a significant step to reduce our carbon footprint by installing solar panels on our roof. It was a large investment, but actually, for a successful business, it’s a no-brainer. We now get more than 50% of our electricity from the newly-installed solar roof-panels.

Only a company committed to the long-term can make such an investment.

As a family-run business with a 150 year heritage, we want to uphold best practices so we are set-fair for the future.

And in case you think this is just a virtue-signalling exercise at the expense of the customer—think again. As more than half our energy is now literally free, this goes to show that a well-run, forward-thinking company can save money and pass on the savings to its clients—at the same time as doing its bit for the planet.

In addition to our solar-power program, we always encourage our clients to use environmentally-friendly options whenever possible.

To this end, we constantly monitor our raw materials so that our clients can rest assured that if there is a choice between two competing products, we will always be gunning for the one which has the least impact on our planet.
